Ascension Associates was first established with a clear purpose in mind: to accelerate organizations implement the business strategy with the right people, whereby we integrate a “deep-dive” approach to help you break through.

Advisory services must be watched with real results so implementation carries the same weight as consulting for us.

Our Story

Since our inception in 2018, we aspire to be a boutique business consultancy where we can make big impact with a lean team around the world. It started with one simple idea and observation from our ground work executing pan-Asian niche regional search assignments: what if we can approach hiring differently?

Since then, we have been delivering workshops, webinars, 1:1 sessions, seminars, content, and search services with start-up founders, multi-national financial services firms as well as Fortune 100 luxury retail brands. We are empowering corporate senior decision makers as well as start-up founders; independent NGOs and upcoming university graduates with our unique perspectives drawing from the intersect of our executive search, leadership development and executive coaching.

What's happening beyond the horizon?

To succeed in business, it is important for us to have visibility in strategy and workforce planning. Finding a balance in what we focus is key.

If we focus on just one spot, we might have missed the bigger picture; likewise when we see the whole picture, can we connect the dots? Are we missing the details?

When I took this picture in the hot air balloon watching the sunrise, the moment just dawned on me: what's happening on the ground? How's the light reflecting upon the houses and the lakes? Watching the light changed every minute the sun was rising was intriguing. So instead of just taking the sunrise pictures at my eye-level, I looked down and took a wide angle shot.

Sometimes when we face constant changes and got overwhelmed, take a moment to check and reflect: what's happening beyond the surface?

It helps us to keep things in perspective, clear our lens and see the world differently.

This is best exemplified by us becoming a signatory of United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs). By signing the WEPs, we are committing to advance gender equality in our workplace, marketplace and community by focusing our efforts on developing our gender action plan.

Aligning with the principles, our priorities will focus on education and training for gender equality, community initiatives and advocacy, employee health, well-being and safety and gender equality in the workplace.

Adopting the seven principles is the best way that we, as a business can deliver on the ambitions for gender equality and women's empowerment as outlined in the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development and in the 17 SDGs.
